Fi creates her work with a balanced sensitivity and connects us to how we experience life.

Pondering places, ideas and hidden histories means she creates works with feeling, taking you somewhere you didn't know you wanted to go.  Fi’s work is philosophical but retains an endearing childlike quality and a hint of the whimsical.

Fi’s curiosity with 'what went before' and her ‘being in the moment‘ meditative approach has led her on many journeys, both literally and philosophically.

With her project management, curation and arts and health experience, Fi is also in her element creative site-specific pieces.

“Poetry gives me the ears to hear myself, to listen out for mother nature”. - Fi

Creativity enables a ‘travelling’ experience, a discovery of the unfamiliar and for something magical to happen.
It is the almost ritualistic underlying processes which are important.

These visual representations of meditations are the tools by which I express realisations and enable connections. I aim to articulate creativity itself.

My practice is open and I value not being able to predict outcomes; this sense of creative freedom lets the work lead me where it wants to go, somewhere I didn’t even know I wanted to go before I got there!
